Sun Ye was the former leader of K-POP group Wonder Girls. She was the leader and main vocal of the group. While she initially took an indefinite leave at the beginning of 2013, she did not officially withdraw from the group until July 2015. She married her husband James Park in January 2013 and moved to Canada. She gave birth to her first daughter Park Eun Yoo in October 2013 and second daughter Park Ha Jin in 2016. She signed with Polaris Entertainment in 2018 as she prepared to make her return to the industry. January 30, 2019 she gave birth to her third daughter Park Yoo Jin. On February 17, 2022 it was announced that she has signed a contract with Blockberry Creative, a subsidiary of Polaris Entertainment, where she was previously signed to. She released her first solo album “GENUINE” in July 2022. On June 29, 2023 she announced that she has parted ways with BlockBerry Creative.
